CRS calculator: how your Express Entry score is built

Every Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points table in force since November 3, 2026, generated from the same code as the TrackMyPR calculator, so the tables and your result always agree.

Core factors

Core factors are worth up to 570 points without a partner and 530 with one: age, education, official languages (up to 160 or 150) and labour market integration.

First official language

Each of the four abilities (speaking, listening, reading, writing) is scored on its CLB level, up to 136 points in all (128 with a partner). Convert a test score to CLB with the CELPIP, IELTS, PTE Core or TEF and TCF charts.

Labour market integration

This factor replaced Canadian work experience on November 3, 2026. It is the higher of your Canadian work points or your job offer points, never both, to a maximum of 150 (140 with a partner). What changed

Skill transferability

Up to 100 points for combinations of education, language, foreign work and Canadian work. The two education combinations together are capped at 50, and so are the two foreign-work combinations (50). Canadian work here means years of work only, not high-wage points or a job offer.
